BADIL Center and the Palestinian Youth Forum Hold their Seventh Meeting in the 2026 Training Series
(Bethlehem, 25 September 2026)
BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights held an intensive training session for members of the Palestinian Youth Forum (PYF) on 25 September 2026 as part of the ongoing training program aimed at developing members' skills and enhancing their knowledge.
The meeting opened with a review of the latest developments concerning the community initiatives to be implemented by the PYF members. Working in groups, the members are leading the implementation of 3 initiatives: one to support farmers during the olive harvest season; a second to document the situation of Palestinian youth in camps within Palestine and Lebanon; and a third consisting of workshops to enhance the knowledge and awareness of children. The groups discussed their planning progress and the challenges they are facing.
The program also included a training workshop entitled "Mobilization and Advocacy Campaign Building" which explored the concept of mobilization, mechanisms for building and developing advocacy campaigns, as well as strategies and tools that can be employed in designing and implementing campaigns. The workshop aimed to strengthen members' capacity to engage in advocacy and contribute to social change.
Finally, the youth participated in a debate-based training session, providing an opportunity to apply dialogue and discussion skills, develop and present arguments, and strengthen members critical thinking, responsiveness, and teamwork skills.
The PYF is an independent youth platform of 25 members, mentored by BADIL. The forum seeks to utilize the skills and knowledge acquired by its participants through Al-Awda Schools training program and transforming them into purposeful community-based and national initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the Israeli colonial-apartheid policies and strengthening the Palestinian people's resistance.
