The General Assembly of BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights held its regular annual meeting for 2026 on Sunday, 10 May. The agenda included:
- Presentation of the 2025 Administrative Report
- Presentation of the audited Financial Report for 2025
- Appointment of an external auditing firm for 2026
- Nomination of new members to the General Assembly
The meeting opened with a moment of silence in honor of the martyrs of Palestine and of two members of the General Assembly: the late martyrs Khaled Al-Saifi and Afif Ghattasha.
The annual administrative and financial reports were presented and discussed, and subsequently approved. The General Assembly also adopted the Board of Directors’ recommendations regarding the appointment of an external auditing firm for 2026 and the admission of five new members nominated by the Board.
The General Assembly further discussed the broader situation and recorded several observations and recommendations, particularly concerning the importance of preserving BADIL’s distinctive discourse, maintaining its rejection of conditional funding, and upholding its professional administrative and financial performance.
