Amid ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza and mass displacement in the West Bank, BADIL and the Global Palestinian Refugee and IDP Network (GPRN) have released a brochure presenting BADIL’s critique of the UN’s Strategic Assessment of UNRWA.
The brochure, based on the key findings of BADIL and GPRN’s position paper, Engineered Collapse: the UN’s Strategic Assessment of UNRWA and Palestinian Refugee Rights, highlights how the Assessment frames UNRWA’s collapse as inevitable, prioritizes Israeli and Western colonial interests, and sidelines Palestinian refugees’ rights.
This brochure provides advocates, refugees, and civil society with a clear, concise guide to the dangers of dismantling UNRWA and the urgent need to defend its full mandate.
