For over 25 years, BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights has stood as an independent, uncompromising voice defending the rights of Palestinian refugees and internally displaced persons. Our work is rooted in Palestinian identity, decolonization and the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people to self-determination and return. Decolonization is not an abstract concept but the only feasible solution — and we refuse to be silenced or co-opted.
The Israeli regime’s ongoing genocide—its pillars of colonialism, apartheid, and forced displacement—continues to target every aspect of Palestinian life. The Ongoing Nakba is not history; it is a lived reality. Yet, colonial powers continue to provide impunity to the Israeli regime and enable all its crimes.
The Palestinian people continue to be denied their collective and individual rights, resistance is being suppressed in all its forms and voices are being silenced. Human rights organizations are under attack. At the same time, donors impose conditional funding that seeks to dismantle civil society and force Palestinians to criminalize their resistance. BADIL rejects this.
