On 8 April 2025, BADIL hosted a webinar in collaboration with Foro Palestina Libre Zaragoza, based in Spain, focusing on the Israeli suppression campaign in the West Bank amid the ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

BADIL outlined a range of policies implemented by the Israeli regime across the West Bank, including the deliberate fragmentation and isolation of Palestinian communities; attacking and destroying refugee camps; mass arrest campaigns; the elimination of international presence; and the expansion of Israeli colonial domination. BADIL highlighted that the Israeli regime’s goals are clear: suppress Palestinian resistance and its popular cradle, erase the Palestinian refugee issue, and impose its full sovereignty and colonial control over the West Bank.

The webinar also featured an open discussion with participants on several key topics: the role of the global Palestine solidarity movement, shortcomings in Spain’s approach to supporting the Palestinian people and their struggle for liberation, decolonial alternatives to the two-state solution, the resilience of Palestinian resistance, the future and policies of the Palestinian Authority, and the Israeli regime’s aims to dismantle Palestinian refugee camps.
