For the consideration of the United Nations Human Rights Council in its 50th regular session, BADIL submitted a written statement entitled “Israel’s Suppression of Palestinian Civil Society” which highlights the Israeli strategy to delegitimize Palestinian organizations by distorting resistance and terrorism. In addition, BADIL contributed an oral statement in the interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the Freedom of Assembly and Association that linking Israeli policies and practices with the denial of right to freedom of assembly and association.
