For Immediate Release

No. (E/031/08)

21 August 2008

The Badil Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights is pleased to announce that we have developed an online search of our research library. Internet users can access the online search service off of www.badil.org; or directly at:

http://www.badil.org/Badil-Library/Searche.html

Badil's library includes various books, reference material, periodicals and primary documents of use to researchers in the fields of international law, Palestinian history, Palestinian rights in general, and Palestinian refugee rights in particular. One of the central aims of the library is to make these materials as widely available as possible to researchers in Palestine. Library materials are sorted under the Library of Congress classification system.

The library is also part of Badil's soon to be launched Ongoing Nakba Education Center, which will house various types of resources and information services on the ongoing exile of Palestinian refugees, and the ongoing displacement of Palestinians on both sides of the 'green line' in historic Palestine.

We invite all who can travel to Bethlehem to visit the library, and make use of the valuable materials will continue to grow. We also invite friends of Badil to suggest titles, and donate books not held by the library that fit its purpose.

The Badil team would like to express our gratitude for all of those who have helped make this library a reality.
