(17 August 2020) Raising Awareness in the USA on the Challenges Facing Palestinian Civil Society: A JVP-BADIL collaboration

In partnership with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) – Boston, on 16 August, BADIL Resource Center completed a 4-part series of webinars covering the following issues: present-day Israeli annexation, Trump’s Vision and Palestinian refugees, Segregation, Fragmentation and Isolation, and Conditional Funding.

The 4-week webinar series aimed to shed light on the current obstacles and challenges facing the Palestinian people in their struggle for liberation, their impact on Palestinian civil society, the shrinking space, and the role(s) of the international community, including its civil society.

From 26 July – 16 August, 100s of participants, mostly from the USA, engaged in the weekly series. BADIL also provided a number of its publications on the various issues in advance. This is the second collaboration of this kind between JVP and BADIL; the first occurred in 2017.

Recordings of each of the webinars can be found here.
